Limitations

Denbun POP version - Limitations

If MeCab (Morphological Analysis Engine) is installed, Denbun POP Version cannnot be installed.(Linux version)
javascript need to be enabled on your browser.
It does not support any Emoticon on mobile devices (You have a trouble of Mojibake:garbage characters)
You cannot search messages in more then one e-mail account at once.
If you have plural e-mail accounts, you cannot select more than one account for search function.
The search function may not find a message whose size exceeds 10,000 characters.
The search function checks first 10,000 characters.
(The characters after 10,000 characters are ignored and not searched)
The way of displaying the number of messages for a folder who has more than 10,000 messages.
In the message list, if the number of messages is more than 10,000 in a folder such as Inbox and Sent, the number of messages is displayed like;

e.g. If you have more than 9,999 messages in the Inbox.
Messages:9999

e.g. If you have more than 10,000 messages in the Inbox.
10000 items or more available

Even if more than 10,000 messages available, you can open any message.
If you want to know the exact number of messages available, please create folders to separate them.
You can add addresses up to 256.
It is possible to specify addresses for "To" "Cc" "Bcc" up to 256 respectively.
If you have several e-mail accounts, you cannot receive messages account by account.
When you click "Receive" button, it receives messages from all the account. You cannot choose individual account for receiving.
Delay of automatic receiving
In automatic receiving, you can specify hour and minute. However if the system is too busy, the receiving process may delay.
When unable to convert received message to UTF-8
Messages are converted into UTF-8 and saved in the database. If a message cannot be converted normally, the following may happen.
- In the message list, "Subject", "From", "Date" is displayed as blank.
- The message cannot be searched
_ You have a trouble of Mojibake:garbage characters when open the message.
Disk space settings specification
There is the disk space settings function, however it does not limit the actual disk usage.
It limits total size of messages you send and receive.
* Disk space = the size of all messages you send, receive, save as draft
The messages are stored in the database. The other data for status and search function is stored too. Therefore, actual disk space usage is more than the size of all the messages.
Limitation with Safari (Browser)
- Copy & Paste cannot be used to attach files.
Even if you check "Mark a message as read when the last line is displayed" option in [Preferences]-[Mark messages as read], it doesn't work.
- On message list screen, up and down allow keys are not used for moving line.
- On mail compose screen, "Cut", "Copy" and "Paste" buttons don't work.
- context menu may not work.
(If the mail windows is displayed behind the current window)
Limitation with Firefox
