Denbun IMAP version Flash
Denbun for Flash is similar to the Ajax version except it requires world-wide popular Flash Player 8 and higher. Denbun for Flash has a sophisticated graphical user interface developed by Flash technology. The user interface lets you navigate easily and dynamically.

About Denbun IMAP Ver.2
Supported Safari and Firefox 3 (from V2.0IR4.0)

Denbun now supports Safari and Firefox 3.

Users can use Mac Safari and Firefox 3 to access to Denbun Ajax, Management Tool as well!
Added the feature to limits access from mobile devices (from V2.0IR4.0)

With registering device identification numbers with the server before hand you can limit access from specific mobile devices. （Please note that this feature is available only for Mobile version with Japanese user interface）

Added the feature to download messages (from V2.0IR2.2)

You can select messages on the message list and the search results screens and download them as a zip file.

Note: If you wish to use the function, choose “Allow” in [General Settings] - [Allow users to download messages] by using the management tool.

With the Shared Link features, you can create the shared link (from Ver.2).

You can add links to the shared link so that users can access to other systems easily.

Now users can drag & drop to attach files to a message (from Ver.2).
Enable to find contacts on LDAP (from Ver.2).

Users can find contacts from the address book in LDAP server in order to select recipients.

Single Sign-on with desknet's standard version (from Ver.2).

If you are using desknet's, you can use [Tab Menu] feature so that users do not have to login Denbun Imap.

System Configuration

When "Denbun Server" gets a request from user's browser, it sends IMAP protocol commands to the mail server in order to get information for appropriate mail box. Then, web contents is generated from the information received, and displayed on user's browser. Basically mail data is stored in mail server only.

With the connection pooling originally developed by us, we offer high performance E-mail system.

Normally web applications that access to a mail server perform authentication whenever getting a request from a browser. Therefore if many users access to the system, load of the server increased and you are getting bad performance. Denbun provides our original connection pool mechanism that keeps user's authentication information for a specific time to prevent unnecessary authentication.

in ordinary E-mail systems, any messages are stored in individual's PC or terminals. Denbun is using IMAP4（Internet Message Access Protocol Version.4） that allows to store and manage messages in a mail server, not in individual's PCs or terminals so that management data can be done in one place. All the messages sent and received are stored in a mail server, and users can use E-mail system as usual through Denbun on a browser.
