This section describes the settings that need to use "Automatic Receiving" function of Denbun.
If you use the "Automatic Receiving" function, you should run scheduler program on your server.
- What is the scheduler?
-
Once the scheduler runs (please refer how to run in the next section) on the server, it executes "Automatic Receiving" function automatically at the specified time.
- How to run the scheduler?
-
You can run the scheduler only once when you run the server.
When you shut down the server and start up again, you have to run the program too. You can use the Windows "at" command.
- 1. Create a batch file to run the scheduler program
-
Open an editor such as Notepad to edit a batch file named "dnpscheduler.bat" to run the scheduler program (Denbun installation directory\dnpscheduler.exe).
* You can find a sample file in the destination directory of Denbun.
* You need to edit the file if your destination directory is not the default place.
- 2. Use "at" command
Run the scheduler program at specified time.
Run command prompt ([Start]-[Programs]-[Accessories]-[Command Prompt])
Run "at" command.
* In the above example, "dnpscheduler.bat" in "C:\Inetpub\Scripts\dnpwml" runs at 8:30AM everyday (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun)
If it runs normally, the "at" command responds by assigning a job ID. dnpscheduler.bat will run at the specified day and time.
- 3. Confirm executing
Open the task manager in Windows and show processes.
If you see "dnpscheduler.exe" in the process list. it runs normally.
* Please refer the help for more information about "at" command.
* If you run the server and the scheduler on Monday and do not shut down the server on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the scheduler is not run several times.
