Benchmarking - Test Results (Conclusion)

As we can see the test result, we can find that the best performance for both Response Time and Throughput with 20 simultaneous number of sessions.

If we accept approx. 20 seconds for the response time at the peak time, it keeps reasonable performance with 100 simultaneous number of sessions.

With 150 sessions, the CPU Utilization in the web server reaches 100%.
150 sessions is maximum sessions. 758 users can login and receive messages within 5 minutes because the scenario run times is 758 times/5 minutes with 20 sessions.

However the number of users is logically calculated. In practical, 500 users for 5 minutes is appropriate.

Based on the above figure, the system can be used for 1,000 users for 10 minutes, and 2,000 users for 20 minutes. If we assume that 30 minutes is busy time at the peak time, the system can be used for 3,000 users.

However, please note that these figures are calculated in the test scenario (Login->Receive-> Reply) and indicators. We recommend that you test Denbun with your environment for your purpose.

For example, in a construction company that is using desknet's with 6,000 users, the simultaneous number of sessions is 30. If we accept that the response time is 10 seconds for each process, in the same machine specification (* Test Environment) the system can be used for 10,000 users (max 100 sessions).

However it depends on your data size, usage, network environment, disk I/O speed, e-mail server performance, and might not the performance you expected.
